Kapalai Resort
Built on a coral reef with no land in sight, Kapalai Resort is a true paradise “floating on the water.” Guests can enjoy stunning 360-degree ocean views. The resort is just a few minutes by boat from town and offers excellent privacy—only staying guests are allowed on the island.
Designed in a traditional Kampong style, the resort is connected by miles of wooden walkways and features a sea-view restaurant, coral gardens, and observation decks, all breathtakingly beautiful. Although there’s no land, the resort boasts a mile-long stretch of powdery white sand, perfect for sunbathing and photography.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Semporna, water chalet
Upon arriving at Tawau Airport, your adventure begins. Driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to Semporna Jetty. From there, you’ll board a 12:30PM boat to the water chalet. The rest of the day is yours to explore the resort at your own pace. Enjoy a relaxing and pleasant day as you settle in and unwind.
